The rain fell. The floods came. The little church by the sea fell and great was the fall of it. This was the story of Romar Beach Baptist Church when Hurricane Ivan struck in September 2004. After considerable prayer, discussion, and investigation about relocating, this small church took a huge step of faith by rebuilding on its beachfront property. We reaffirm our call to be God's lighthouse on the beach and to take a stand in the sand.
We have since then endured through the BP Oil Spill of 2010 and the financial and membership losses that followed. God has answered many prayers, and we are back on our feet and starting over once again!
